Heh, more like... it is a bit of mistake in how they follow the novel. What was needed was not medicine king token as that would be completely pointless. In novel entrance was gotten by giving high tier elixir (some rare flower). And when he got inside like this, everybody who didn't have it was aggrieved.

And why is medicine king token pointless? Garden master is medicine emperor and even that is not enough for her to cure her illness... what would be the point with random medicine kings. Flower on the other hand was the missing ingredient for one of her tryout (... and fail) cures she is making for herself

Also, yes there is appointment with grim ripper. But, the one who kills won't be Qin Chen or his minion... and death is best described as... "Noisy..." *splat*
